Breakfast at church

The New Orleans - First Lutheran Youth (NO-FLY) will be serving breakfast on Sunday, February 12, in order to raise funds to attend the summer 2012 national youth gathering of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in New Orleans, Louisiana. The menu will be baked French toast, sausage, juice, and coffee. There are ten youth and three chaperones who are attending, but anyone else who would like to help with the breakfast or contribute to the breakfast would be most welcome. This is also the day the Sunday School children will be singing in church, so we hope for a good turn-out of children and adults from the whole congregation.

Lock-In

The lock-in at First Lutheran Church for the youth in grades 7-12, scheduled for February 3-4, has been postponed because the Tri-County School one act play won first place in the January 28 contest and will advance to a contest on Saturday, February 4, at East Grand Forks. CONGRATULATIONS TRI-COUNTY ONE ACT PLAY. The lock-in will be re-scheduled to a date when all can participate. Youth Group leader Beth says that she needs more adults to help with the lock in.
