Annual Meeting Dinner

The youth who are attending the 2015 National Youth Gathering will be serving dinner to the congregation on Sunday, January 25, at about noon between morning worship and the annual meeting.  This is a fund raiser for the trip to Detroit.

This summer, a total of 28 youth from across Kittson County traveled to South Dakota to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and served with the Earth Tipi site.

I cannot thank YOU enough for supporting the YOUth and their quest to make a difference in the world by serving others.  

YOUth are AMAZING and can do great things!      We hope this inspires more youth to join a future trip.

Lenten Suppers

There are two 7:00 Wednesday Lenten services remaining in April focusing on this year’s county-wide theme of “Change.”  The 8^th & 9^th graders will serve supper on April 2 at 6:00.  Our graduating seniors (grade 12) will serve on the 9^th for a free will offering for the youth group at the meal.  The schedule has been

March 12 - grades 4 & 6

March 19 - grades 5 & 7

March 26 - grades 10-11

April 2 - grades 8 & 9

April 9 - grade 12

Second Sunday

At the instigation of several youth on the Idaho trip the county youth group is beginning a “Second Sunday” event each month at which there will be games, light refreshments, along with singing and worship.  This is sponsored by the youth but not just for the youth.  It is for everyone.  The location will rotate around the county with first one at First Lutheran Church on September 8 from 6:00 to 8:00.  Please come for a time of great Christian fellowship

Mission Trip to Idaho
